I spent the day in the mountains with my family. The forest is recovering quite nicely since the Cameron Peak Fire. Baby trees litter the forest floor. Small aspen groves are bursting with color. It’s nice to see new life. We even saw a rainbow after a hellish hail storm. Luckily I finished painting just in time.
