This is a lifetime collection of buttons, in a mason jar. I recently helped clean out an old house. Inside I found a box of buttons, carefully saved. Each button seemed important. Some were taped to cardboard, others tied together in sets, many were labeled according to which article of clothing they matched.
It is interesting that something that was once so valuable is disregarded today, no longer useful and set aside.
I thought they’d be pretty in the jar. And it turns out, they make a nice painting too!
